Richard Davy and Diane Wright are the owners of Country House Kennels and Cattery having purchased it in November 2006.

The site has been a Kennels since 1977 and is currently licensed by the Central Bedfordshire Council to board 70 dogs  in three kennel blocks and 30 cats in one cattery block. Located in open countryside on the A5 between Markyate & Caddington, we are only 5 minutes from the M1 J9, very easy to find and ideally located for access to Luton Airport. (By arrangement, we can pick up your pet from Luton Parkway - Luton Airport's railway station - if you are flying out from Luton.)

Our grounds are are over one acre in size giving the dogs plenty of room for exercise in two secure areas. One of these is an enclosure within the grounds where small dogs or those with minimal exercise requirements can be allowed to roam freely. The other is the remaining enclosed grounds.

At Country House Boarding Kennels & Cattery our only aim is to provide good quality care for all pets boarded here, and our staff are very experienced. Our whole site is animal friendly and we are very security conscious. We have intruder alarms fitted around the property and smoke alarms fitted in each Kennel & Cattery block.

There is always a responsible person on site 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year.
