Kennels information

We have three kennel blocks with a total of 40 kennels split into one 20 kennel block and two 10 kennel blocks.
  • Some kennels can be configured to provide family accommodation for several dogs from the same family if the dogs are too large to use a normal kennel. The large family kennel can hold up to four dogs and there are two family kennels for up to three small dogs. These kennels are very popular so early booking is essential at peak times.

  • Each kennel has its own heating and it's own attached run which is fully covered. Dogs have access to the attached run at all times during the day so, even in the rain or snow, your pets can still have the choice of being outside or snuggling down inside.

  • We do provide beds and bedding but you are more than welcome to bring one easily washed item of their own bedding and a couple of toys. Large items cannot be accepted.

  • We have a wide selection of branded food for dogs. This includes Chappie, Wagg, James Wellbeloved, IAMS,Pedigree (normal and small bite), Hi-Life, and Chappie, Winalot, Butchers, Pedigree, and Cesar tinned food, Davies Chub Dinners as well as normal and small bite mixers. These are all standard varieties. If your dog needs special food or a special version of our standard range (Puppy or Senior varieties, for example), we will ask you to supply enough food for the stay.

In addition to the kennels' attached runs, the entire site has a secure boundary so your dogs can have fun with balls, toys etc off lead. In the warmer months, paddling pools are available in a separate, small area.

We prefer to exercise dogs off-lead on the grassy areas of the grounds using balls, footballs, tuggers etc... Whilst your pet is boarding with us they will enjoy these supervised exercise sessions every day. All dogs get human contact throughout the day but are not permitted to mix with other dogs from different families.

We are also more than happy to administer medication. All our permanent staff have been trained to administer simple injections - for diabetes, for example. We make no additional charge for this service.
